Standard equipment on the KATO crawler carrier includes air conditioning, side and rear view camera, deluxe seat and easy joystick controls. The four tiltable bottom rollers with eight rollers total prevent peak stress on the track and contribute to a longer service life. The cab is characterized by excellent all-round visibility. The Kato IC70R crawler carrier has a low center of gravity and high ground clearance, making it a pleasure to work with.
The 11.6-ton KATO crawler carrier on 700-millimeter-wide rubber tracks has an engine power of 190 hp, low fuel consumption and a travel speed of up to 12 km/h. The 360° rotating superstructure ensures significantly less damage to the soil structure. The low 2.70 m cab structure allows transport on a bucket truck in many cases. The lower dead weight offers an advantage when transporting two dumpers on one combination (truck).
