Drenth Groep from Emmen has taken delivery of the first of two new KATO IC100-5 Stage V crawler carriers. Henry Kuper received the key of the first crawler carrier. We wish Drenth Groep much job satisfaction with new carriers!
Standard equipment on the KATO crawler carrier includes air conditioning, side and rear view camera, deluxe seat and easy joystick controls. The front cover and engine cover are easy to open and from street level, essential components are easily accessible for daily inspection. In addition, the crawler carrier is equipped with a weighing system to monitor daily production. The cab is characterized by excellent all-round visibility. The KATO IC100-5 crawler carrier has a low center of gravity and high ground clearance, making it a pleasure to work with.
The 11.6-ton KATO crawler carrier on 700-millimeter-wide rubber tracks has an engine power of 260 hp, low fuel consumption and a travel speed of up to 12 mph. The cab's low 2.70 body height allows transport on a bucket truck in many cases. The lower self-weight offers advantage when transporting two crawler carriers on one combination (truck).
